This trek commences in a region of natural hot
springs spawned by Bali's rich volcanic history.
One of Bali's most fertile landscapes rest here
in the foothills of Mt. Batukaru. Although much
of Bali has adopted modern lifestyles, farmers
of this region continue the traditions of their
forefathers.
This trek
offers a glimpse into the vast variety of rural
life as well as the intricate system of irrigation
and rice farming.
