Amanusa - Nusa Dua

From its hilltop location in southern Bali, Amanusa (peaceful isle) is blessed with tropical island views. The Bali Golf and Country club unfolds immediately below Amanusa. From the rolling green hills, the view runs north to the sea and beyond to volcanic Mount Agung. On a clear morning, the horizon is full with Bali’s mountains. To the northeast, the island of Nusa Penida is visible. In the east, just a few hundred meters away, the sea is cut with a barrier reef made for surfing.

Despite its exclusive setting, Amanusa may be Amanresorts most central hideaway. Bali’s international airport and the beach world of Kuta are both about 20 minutes from Amanusa; Denpasar, the island capital, is 30 minutes from the resort.

Getting There
Amanusa is only a 20-minute drive from Denpasar airport. Complimentary airport transfer is provided. While visitors from most countries do not require special visas, passports must be valid for at least six months from date of entry

FACILITIES
The Terrace enjoys sweeping views to the golf course, ocean and beyond. Serving a mix of Asian and continental fare during the day and Indonesian and Thai dishes in the evenings.

The hotels restaurant specialises in Italian cuisine served in an elegant room of high ceilings and leaded windows. An outdoor courtyard is also available, set amongst flowering frangipani trees, for more romantic occasions.

The Bar provides a good vantage point for views over the peninsula, sea and mountains on the horizon. The Bar is also a serene setting for afternoon tea.

Amanusa Facilities The Beach Club is located on the beachfront of the Bali Golf and Country Club. The Beach Club offers nine pavilions each with 2 of thier own sun loungers. Refreshments, light meals, showers and washrooms are provided. The beach is protected by a fringing coral reef that provides a safe lagoon for swimming or watersports.

The resort has meeting facilities catering to a maximum of 30 people and is a special venue for small meetings and private functions such as weddings, birthdays and family reunions.

Massage and beauty treatments are available with masseuses, offering a mix of Balinese and Swedish treatments in the privacy of your own room or outside on the terrace.

Activities on offer include golf at any of Bali's 3 golf clubs, bicycling, island cruising, surfing, cooking classes, touring and shopping in Kuta, Legian or Sanur.
