Thamrin 9) which shows all the main bus routes in Jakarta. Most buses radiate from L. Benteng and most you jump on will eventually end up there. Next cheapest are bemos or op/ets which go along the main drags, Rp50-100 for an average run. Becaks cost Rp100-200 for a 1-3 km ride, but are banned from the downtown. If you take a helicak, Rp2-300 for short distances, make sure that they take you all the way and not drop you off at 'the border'.
