Village Tour & Jatiluwih Rice Terraces Inclusive Lunch

The majority of people on Bali earns their living from agriculture and lives in villages. Each Balinese household consists of several structures with all built within a confining wall, with variations depending on the caste and wealth of the family. When a son of the family marries, his wife usually move into his compound, so there are frequently several generations living within the same area, each with their own sleeping quarters, but otherwise sharing the household facilities.

Upon arrival, visit to Balinese compound of Desa Tunjuk characters, where kitchens row in the same line. As well as lumbung rice barns, bale family hall and main house. Then proceed visiting elementary school, located not far from Balinese house.

Afterwards experience farming activities in nearby village farming-field, followed by rice field short trekking to the area where coconuts are served for a drink, by a climbing coconut tree attraction shows by a local.

Next the trip will take you to Jatiluwih, one of favorite rice terraces of Bali. According to its name Jatiluwih from Jati and Luwih, where Jati means “really” and Luwih means “beautiful”. Jatiluwih is surrounded by cool atmosphere as it is situated in the height of 700 meters above sea level. Famous for its organic agriculture system Jatiluwih is located in Tabanan Regency about 48 km from Denpasar in the plateau of Mount Batukaru.

Enjoy the ricefields trekking, beautiful panorama, clean air and fresh water in the irrigation channel, while making your best photographs. Coffee/tea with traditional snacks are included in this tour.
