Jimbaran Alamanda Villa - jimbaran

Jimbaran Alamanda Villa is situated just in front of white sandy Jimbaran Beach in a quiet local Balinese atmosphere. Their villa rests on 1 hectare of magnificently landscaped tropical gardens. They are not a villa complex like others in Bali. Each of their 3 villas includes a private garden with a large private swimming pool

Each of their 3 villas includes a private garden with a large private swimming pool. The colonial open style with natural wooden interiors and lush landscaped gardens allows their guests to enjoy a tropical lifestyle while also having a cozy private luxury home feeling.

Jimbaran Alamanda Villa is located 20m from the beach in the village of Kedonganan at the northern end of Jimbaran Bay. This is close to the airport but guests at the villa needn’t worry about being disturbed by the sound of planes taking off and landing, although it’s entertaining to watch them from the beach.

Jimbaran Bay is famed for its fresh fish. Everyday, the fishermen return to the shore in their gaily painted vessels to trade their marine harvest at the bustling Kedonganan fish market. Here, hundreds of kilos of snapper, barracuda, sardines, tuna and mackerel are sold to retailers and restaurants throughout the south of the island. What used to be a higgledy-piggledy arrangement of seafood eateries stretching from Kedonganan to Jimbaran has – in recent years – given way to a more orderly arrangement of buildings neatly regimented within designated areas, supported by car parking facilities and security checks.

As the area has become more upmarket, the cafes at the Kedonganan end of the beach have been knocked down, rebuilt and modernised. Scruffy plastic chairs and tables have been replaced with attractive teak wood furniture. Lit by flickering candles, the tables and chairs spill out on to the sand; the ambience remains animated and social, yet it can also be enchanting and romantic, depending on the size of your party!
