Plataran Bali Resort & Spa - kerobokan

The PLataran Bali Resort & Spa - where the comforts of fine living seamlessly blend in with nature and tradition is an exotic labyrinth of Balinese Luxury with enchanted gardens and twenty traditional stylish Villas

PLataran Bali Resort & Spa is far from the madding crowd, yet just 30 minutes drive from the airport, comfortably tucked in next to a village and the lush green paddy fields with a river flowing alongside the villas.  Soak up the sun, listen to the wind singing in the lovingly tended Balinese gardens and the bamboo restaurant, soothe your eyes and get ready for the amazing Balinese hospitality that compliments the sound of silence complete bliss and peace of PLataran Bali, only the bird’s call, and  cricket’s hum!

The villas are inspired by a passion for traditional ancient Indonesian architecture and decoration. The thatched roof villas, with traditional wooden doors and windows located amidst lush Balinese gardens, alongside the natural river and across the paddy fields sensitively integrate with the natural settings

Set amidst nature, PLataran Bali exudes the charm of Indonesia's true heritage. The reception of the resort "Sawaagat" - welcome in Sanskrit- is a careful reconstruction of a
Joglo (Central Javanese architectural "trademark"), which, after 1900, gradually was confined to public spaces and dwellings of those people who enjoyed special strata and privilege in society. This particular Joglo is 250 years old and has been transported from its original location in central Java and reassembled at the resort to give you a blend of Indonesian culture across the islands. This Joglo is made out of Jati wood or Kayu Jati as it is locally known and is characterized by a unique pagoda style cascading design on the ceiling locally known as Tumpangsari and intrinsic carvings depicting traditional Javanese art on all the wooden pillars.
