3D/2N Jakarta & Bandung

Day 1: Arrival Jakarta
Upon arrival in Jakarta, direct for Jakarta city tour visiting the Old Town Batavia and Sunda Kelapa harbor. Known as Kota Tua, it was the reminiscent of the vicinity during colonial times in 16th century. The city was only within Batavia walled compound (today Kota), while the surrounding areas was only kampong (villages), orchards and ricefields. Dubbed “The Jewel of Asia” and “Queen of the East” in the 16th century by European sailors, Batavia was once a centre of commerce for the whole continent due to its strategic location and abundant resources.
After lunch drive to Bandung.
Arrive Bandung in the late afternoon, rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Bandung.

Day 2: Bandung (with Breakfast)
A fullday program to explore Bandung and its surrounding. A short drive within the city to the live of local people, then drive to Tangkuban Perahu mountainous area to see Tangkuban Perahu volcano. It is a dormant volcano which last erupted in 1959, and is a popular tourist attraction where tourists can hike or ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot water springs and boiling mud up close, and buy eggs cooked on the hot surface.

In the afternoon, visit an Angklung performance. The performance are shown by children and is an is a very interesting session. Angklung is a musical instrument made of two bamboo tubes attached to a bamboo frame. The tubes are carved to have a resonant pitch when struct and are tuned to octaves. The base of the frame is held in one hand, whilst the other hand strucks the instrument. This causes a repeating note to sound. Each of three or more performers in and angklung ensemble play just one note or more, but altogether complete melodies are produced.

In the evening, stroll to the city center for fashion or try out the varied local snacks.
Overnight in Bandung

Day 3: Bandung – Jakarta (with Breakfast)
Today is a leisure program in Bandung before driving back to Jakarta.
Visit to Aroma coffee factory, where traditional processing methods are still considered the norm. Then drive around the city and any stop can be made at souveniers shops.
Return to Jakarta via toll road, and drop at Jakarta airport for your next destination.
